With Open Arms is about connection, not judgment.
With Open Arms started with a simple but difficult brief—help Indigenous youth have honest conversations about substances, with each other, not at them.
Developed in partnership with FNHA’s youth committee, the campaign was shaped by a committee of Indigenous youth from across British Columbia. That grounding informed everything: the identity, the tone, the casting, the scripts. It made sure the work didn’t feel like a PSA dropped from above, but something that actually reflected the lives and experiences of the youth it was speaking to.

The scope was wide—campaign identity, talent casting, script development, video production, photography, document design, print collateral, website design and development, influencer collaboration, and paid digital media management. But the through-line across all of it stayed consistent.

No judgment, no agenda. Just honest guidance that holds space for both harm reduction and abstinence, and meets youth wherever they are in their relationship with substances.
