Kyle Balagno has spent more than three decades helping organizations clarify their message, strengthen their brand, and achieve meaningful business results. As Senior Strategic Advisor at Myron Advertising + Design in Vancouver, Kyle continues to provide high-level guidance on brand development, communications strategy, and long-term marketing direction for a diverse group of corporate, institutional, and retail clients.

Having worked alongside founder Myron Balagno for many years before assuming leadership of the agency, Kyle helped guide a successful transition that has allowed the firm to evolve while maintaining the strategic thinking and client relationships that have defined Myron for over 50 years. Today, serving in an advisory capacity while his successor, Leighton Balagno, leads the agency’s operations, Kyle remains closely involved in shaping strategic initiatives and providing counsel on complex marketing and communication challenges.

Beyond his professional work, Kyle has been an active supporter of community initiatives. He previously served on the Executive Committee for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s signature fundraising event, Rockin’ for Research, and contributed nationally through the organization’s Marketing & Communications Committee, helping guide fundraising and outreach strategies that supported the foundation’s mission.

Leighton is the Marketing and Creative Director at Myron Creative. Working alongside long-time president Kyle Balagno, she’s spent the past four years taking ownership of strategy, creative direction, and execution across the studio’s full range of work—from brand identity and web to paid media and video production. Everything she touches is driven by one thing: work that moves the needle for the clients she serves.

A detail-oriented and highly organized professional, Lisa brings a strong blend of financial expertise and strategic oversight to Myron. With a proven track record in managing accounts, streamlining processes, and improving operational efficiency, she ensures accuracy, compliance, and clarity across all financial activities. Known for her problem-solving mindset and proactive approach, she supports leadership with reliable insights and seamless day-to-day management. Whether balancing books, optimizing workflows, or implementing systems, she is committed to helping Myron run smoothly, make informed decisions, and achieve sustainable success through precision, accountability, and thoughtful management.

30+ years of professional experience as a designer and practicing artist are evidence of the passion that Peter has for the design process. Meticulous attention to the craft of typography and a rigorous approach to the technical and aesthetic aspects of form, colour and design, are all qualities that explain why clients value their relationship with Peter.

Peter’s success in the creative field is backed by extensive training and apprenticeships in various art and design disciplines. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art (Johannesburg, South Africa) and a Master of Arts degree and Diploma in graphic design (Lausanne, Switzerland). Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Peter lived for four years in Lausanne, Switzerland before settling in Vancouver during the early nineties. In his quest for life experience, enlightenment and creative enrichment, he has travelled extensively to the farthest corners of the earth. Peter brings that depth and breadth of experience to bear on every project.

Adel is a results-driven marketing professional with 16 years of advertising experience across social media, digital strategy, account management, and integrated campaigns. At Myron Creative, she serves as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring projects run smoothly from concept to completion. She has worked across diverse industries and global markets, leading cross-functional teams and driving campaign performance. Known for her adaptability and collaborative approach, she brings both strategic thinking and executional excellence to every project.

WHO IS MYRON

“Myron” is Myron Balagno, who founded the company in 1971. A former radio announcer and public relations representative, he became a well-known figure in Vancouver’s advertising community—creative, original, and never short on personality.

The Vancouver Sun once called him “a character in an age without character.” His belief in levity, simplicity, and long-term relationships still shapes how we work today.
